The mission of the Sheriff’s Department is to protect and serve the public. They enforce laws and protect life and property, investigate crimes, and serve civil papers. There are five Deputy Sheriffs, five Detention Officers, and six Dispatchers.
The Sheriff's Office also oversees Mineral County Search and Rescue.
